Hi! I’m Mary Beth. My love for hiking and all things outdoors was born from a simple day trip to New River Gorge National Park over 8 years ago now. The freedom & contentment my heart felt on the trail is a feeling that still never gets old. When I’m not exploring, I work as an acute care physical therapist at a level 1 trauma and stroke center in the heart of Wild and Wonderful West Virginia. As a physical therapist, I often have witnessed how dramatically someone’s life can change in an instant and vowed to myself that I wasn’t waiting until retirement to chase my dreams of seeing the world. If you’re looking for hiking adventure content, look no further! The best part of wandering? I know the country roads will always take me home.
